Nokia 5800 says bye to FCC, coming to USA

By Meraj Chhaya | December 20, 2008

American 5800 owner-hopefuls, the wait is over, the Federal Communications Commission has given the 5800 the green card it needed.

Every phone, or communication device in the world has to go through an FCC approval, and the 5800 XpressMusic is no exception. This simply means that there are only a few things blocking the 5800’s release in the US. I am sure that even without the FCC, you could get hold of one through eBay, by clicking here.

These days are we are filling the blog with themes, because that’s what you have asked for, if you need apps, games, we will do our best. In any case, visit our forum and voice your opinion!

Nokia’s US flagship stores are now selling the European version of the 5800 for $375 plus tax (and free shipping). This is an unlocked phone, but will not work with AT&T’s 3G network. It does not include the “Comes with Music” service.
