With the touch interface of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone, MMMOOO’s MyPhone software brings the graphic user interface (GUI) of Apple’s iPhone to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone. The innovative folks at MMMOOO are listening to your suggestions and they are using this to make their MyPhone v2.2 for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone product truly remarkable, as we reviewed in the Beta version.
As promised, the MyPhone v2.2 for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone was launched last July 15, 2009 with such anticipation. With new improvements and features, this new release will surely bring the Nokia 5800 look like an iPhone but with the powerful features of the Nokia 5800 S60 mobile operating system.

- Another list of messages.
Tagged as “MyPhone exceeding iphone”, MMMOOO MyPhone v2.2 for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has added a new cool feature: the SMS conversation in text messages. It is similar to the iPhone conversation feature for text messages where the messages are grouped according to sent and replied conversations. This is very useful for keeping up with the exchanges between you and your contact. Not to mention, the way you can send text messages now using the Myphone v2.2 for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is similar to the iPhone’s interface. Another ingenious way to enjoy our Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
Another added feature on the SMS text messaging category is the scheduling of SMS sends with you senders list. Yes. You can now send a message to your contact on a pre-set preferred time and date. This would be great especially when you want to send a “Happy Birthday” greeting even if you are still asleep or maybe an announcement to you team even if you are in a meeting somewhere. Think of the things you can do with this feature.

- A new interface to customize your apps
A feature which I mentioned in my previous MyPhone for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic review was the difficulty of adding 3rd party applications and its corresponding icons on the MyPhone graphical user interface (GUI). I believe the people of MMMOOO heard our cry. They have now enabled the MyPhone v2.2 for Nokia 5800 for 3rd party applications to be picked through a list. No need to know the path of the application. No need for self input. This way, we can add the applications we have downloaded over at the Ovi store or other companies and attach it to our favorite MyPhone interface.
For all those weather forecasters out there, now it is easier to know if it will all be “Sun! Sun! Sun!” or “Rains and Thunderstorms.” MyPhone v2.2 for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic now has a built in Free Weather Service complete with the iPhone-like interface and graphics. Sun icons and cloud icons will appear depending on the type of weather you have in your city or country. Not all could appreciate this. But it does come in handy.
MyPhone v2.2 for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic still has its constant features such as the RSS reader, the sketchpad, the iPhone icons and interface and other features that makes his application a must buy. If you want the power of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and the interface of Apple iPhone in one package, then purchase this unique application – MMMOOO MyPhone v2.2 for Nokia 5800.

You can get the application HERE.-not working link
Hi. It is working for me…
Hi.
I just bought this application for my 5800 XM, yet, the first time I tried to access the new SMS feature, it said “Flash 4 Error” or something like that.
I tried it again and the SMS allowed me to get into my inbox and see some of my messages, but it only showed those that were in my inbox, and not the ones I sent along with those, like the actual iPhone. So, it didn’t look like an actual conversation.
Also, the program is not allowing me to send a message. As soon as I tap on the writing field at the bottom, or try to select a contact, the next screen that pops up looks frazzled, and I can’t do anything, so I have to exit out of the app.
I spent $13 bucks on this…I need to know if there is a way of fixing this problem because I really like this application.
It may be just my phone, but if it’s an actual bug, please help me out.
very interesting .. is there any way to get a trial of this ?
Is there a way to upgrade from v 2.11 for those of us who have the old version? Is it free or do we have to buy the new version?
I also encountered the “Flash 4 Error”. I suspect that flash can’t handle a huge number of sms to be retrieve that’s why it prompts an error.
So…would I have to keep the number of messages in my inbox to a minimum?
I mean, I REALLY wanna use this program. I REALLY do.
Is there a way to get around this? Or must we wait for an update?
There might be a new update. I have already asked regarding this bug to the folks from MMMOOO, they will reply here to you
Thank you.
I’ve been raving about my 5800 to my friends with iPhones…if there is an update, it’d be greatly appreciated. iPhone’s SMS format is pretty useful.
[...] as the MyPhone application this works as a tool that makes the screen of your Nokia 5800 look like a microsoft environment [...]
None of my 3rd party apps work when putting the icons on the myphone app. I can add the icons just fine….but when i go to use them nothing happens. Do I have to add all of these the old way with file extensions? Or is there some setting I can change? I thought this update made it to where we could just pick them from a list?
