just occasionally the <answer call> "button" on my 5800 refuses to work.. even though i press it the phone just keeps ringing until eventually the caller rings off. It isn't frequent, happened about twice in about 6 weeks so far.
yeah i know i should take it back, but i can't be bothered re-loading all the stuff if they give me a new one! Just wondered if this was a common problem?
Are you referring to the answer call touch screen button or the actual call button on the lower left?

I sometimes have to touch the screen several times before it works in many different applications. I think the latest firmware is supposed to help but it is not yet available in the US. However, if you continue to have this issue and only with the call answer button you may have other problems. Use OVI Suite to back up your phone and then take it in for repair or replacement. When you get it back you can just put everything back in one shot.
