Nimbuzz update notification on signing in
Nimbuzz, which we rated as one of the best third party applications for 5800, when it was released in May 2009, just got better. Developers at Nimbuzz are not satisfied with just keeping us happy and may be they plan to blow or mind or something with their latest update to v2.0 (2).
In a little less than 2 months, I think this is Nimbuzz's second update, going by their numbering scheme. I don't remember seeing v2.0 (1) for update but I may be wrong and v2.0(1) may have existed and as such am considering v2.0(2) to be the second update. Please update us if it is otherwise for we love to get some feedback from our readers.
How to Update?
History of sent items
Very Simple, just login to your Nimbuzz client from your 5800s and message popups as shown in the screenshot above, informing the users of the new update available for the client. Once you click on yes, you will be directed to the download link in the default symbian browser. The installation file (.sisx) is 1.02 MB and is a bit smaller than the sisx file for the v2.00 client which was 1.3 MB. So the developers have managed to squeeze in the same/better features in a smaller package!
While I didn't spot any major changes in the update, I did come across a few screen for Nimbuzz inbox and history of sent items. There is even a new section in the Nimbuzz account tab, where we can now check for messages as well as the history of sent items. I would again urge the readers to update us on other new features that they come across in the latest version of Nimbuzz.

I don’t get any update notifications when logging in to Nimbuzz. I installed Nimbuzz about 3 weeks back. My version is 2.0.0 rev. 1356. Does the latest update v2.0 (2) has a different version/revision than that?
Vopium and Fring has also VoIP clients for Nokia 5800 xpress music.
I try both Nimbuzz and Vopium on my Nokia 5800, I did not get any update notifications when logging into nimbuzz, where as I used vopium for Sync, it works fine.
I love Nimbuzz for instant messaging preferrbly and then Vopium for making cheap calls. My 5800 is full of useful apps now.
