Nokia 5800 App Review: Handy RSS

By jametif | March 18, 2009

handyrss_1Here is an application that we bloggers would like to use. Handy RSS. It allows you to read RSS and it displays the headers for easy browsing from your list of your favorite channels.

Handy RSS was released for S60 3rd edition and now available to our Nokia 5800, supporting the touch interface. Nothing has change from the S60 3rd edition. User interface is very easy to maneuver. You can easily add and edit channels in a breeze. RSS feeds are displayed as an article or a header, on a single list, which is very easy to read.  You can also set it to auto update. You can read your RSS list offline, and download it on your preference and use the browser to read your article. It can also be set to keep your items on your list in a certain period of time, and it'll be auto deleted. Your RSS list can be mark as read and unread.
handyrss_2I personally think that the RSS feed option that came with our phone under Internet option is good enough, however Handy RSS has more features to offer.

All in all, Handy RSS is indeed handy for one stop shop of your RSS feeds. If you are a person who like to be up to date with your blogs and channels, this app will certainly help you. It comes in a 14 day trial and it'll cost you 14.95USD after trial.

If you want to download the this application check it out from their site.
