Light torch is the light that'll guide you through the night. This could be the motto to this application. Which doesn't mean it's not useful!Light torch allows you to control the LED lights used as an aid to the camera, both the bright double white ones as the red one (usually used in the video recorder mode).
It also lets you sending mores codes messages while using the same LEDs.
The application has only one screen with all the options in big nice buttons. Start/Stop, Switch color (from white to red and vice-versa), Morse (to start the morse code signals), Settings and Updates.
Although it's a good thing having an application that can check for updates, the truth is it doesn't do any check. It's simply an URL to the developers' website with the latest version on it. So, unless you know what your version is, you won't get any warning sign or something like that. So in the end, it's not useless, but the whole "check for updates function" is not quite that.
Settings lets you choose the update interval, the morse interval, the light color and if you want light on power on, full screen light and flash light. One “strange”, or rather than strange, redundant thing is that the “options” buttons gives you the same options as the main menu.
I think it's an application you'll want to try out and see for yourself if you need it or not. Maybe guide you as a torch, or just to show it blinking in a club. In any case, these are our impressions!
