Symabook happens to be another application which has joined the race of mobile clients for the ever famous socializing website Facebook. It has all the features of a regular Facebook client available but it’s the first one developed exclusively for Facebook in a Symbian package. I recently got this application for review which at the moment is going to be launched for only Symbian 5th Edition devices which includes our Nokia 5800.
To be really frank, the application is very buggy at the moment and I am not able to use most of its features. However, one thing that has really impressed me is the user interface (UI). The UI of the application is really new and pleasing. So I can for sure tell you that once this application completes its alpha and beta phase, it’s definitely gonna rock.
What Symabook offers?
Symabook offers a very new way of looking at your pictures. They say that you can actually see your pictures in a continuous zoom fashion using a single touch circular gesture. This seems to be similar to something what we see in HTC Touch mobiles. Unfortunately, I was not able to view this feature on my mobile for the reason that as soon as the application started loading the pictures, it got stuck. However, this is a alpha application that I reviewed so we really should not put any judgement at this moment. Let’s wait for the real deal and then see for ourselves if it has that something to standout of this race of mobile clients.

If we look at the technology that they are following, it happens to be a platform independent one, which means they can render this innovative UI on every device.
I would really suggest that you install this application and checkout the UI and post your comments. This application can be downloaded from this link starting 2nd September 2009.
