Furtiv Beta enables Nokia Share Online to be able to upload pictures/videos to Facebook, Twitter, Picasa Web Albums and You Tube. I really admire that this being made available by Furtiv and Nokia did not even think about it. Moreover, this is a free service so everyone can benefit from this. Furtiv Beta plugin for Nokia 5800 allows you to upload your pictures and videos without having to install or signup with any third party software company. Just visit Furtiv and download some configuration files to your phone and activate the services and you are done. Please find below a detailed guide on using Furtiv to upload from your phone using the inbuilt Nokia Share Online.
1. Visit http://furtiv.mobi on your phone's browser. You will find four different links for downloading settings for Facebook, Twitter, Picasa and You Tube respectively.
2. Clicking on each of these links will download configuration files that are saved automatically to Nokia Share Online on your phone. You will observe a confirmation message - 'File saved to Share online' upon each file download.

3. After you are done with the step above, from you phone's home-screen, activate the media bar and click on the third icon - Nokia Share Online.
4. You will now observe that you have all the four services - Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, You Tube listed in the Share online menu.
5. Now activate each of these services one by one using your respective accounts. Once you have activated them, you should be able to see your account name replacing the 'Ready for activation' message for each of these services. Test uploading a file from your gallery. If everything has gone fine, you should be able to see the uploaded content in your account on PC/Phone.

I have not tried this one, but I use pixel pipe. It is awesome, you can post to one of your sites, or all of them with one simple upload.
Thaaaaaaaankss!!!!
Exactly what i needed! Now i can post directly from the phone UI, whitout the need of 3rd party apps. Very very good!
HI,
While this is not a 3rd party app it’s a 3rd party service.
your login details and anything you upload will go through their server and they can use it for what ever they want.
Nice! Thanks! Waited for it! Will try it out an hope it works!
Great stuff. I don’t wanna be paranoid so I won’t even begin to think that the developers would want to exploit my login details or my uploaded stuff.
I’ve got everything except the Facebook uploader working. When trying to activate, the uploader just hangs waiting for the browser, which in turn hangs on a blank Facebook page.
Having this same issue with activating Facebook, just hangs on a blank screen
Yeah I have had the same problem as above, I downloaded the app from OVI store via my 5800 and the app just hangs after allowing fb access, you switch windows and the app just shows “waiting for browser” with the time line scrolling away underneath. As far as I am aware I have got the latest S60 software on the phone, any idea’s why it works with some & not others.
Thanks Gary (vodafone UK)
