Here is a cool trick for you, that allows you to download app setups from OVI store to your PC. Sounds interesting right?? Follow the steps carefully :

1.Get firefox on pc first, and install http://goo.gl/R6l7V and restart browser.

2.Download http://goo.gl/uX2db and extract it to get the xml file.

3.Open firefox>addons>user agent switcher>options , and click on import, select the xml file donwloaded. When the updated list shows up, select :

a) Nokia 5800 if you are running original 5800 firmware and not c6. If you put in N97, you get many apps which will never work on your phone.

b) N97 if you are running c6 as this option shows up widgets available in ovi not available for 5800.

4.Now simply goto OVI store and it shows up exactly as on mobile and download as much as you like.!!

Now when you download stuffs from OVI store, you get 4 types of files : jad, jar, sis/sisx and dm. If it is a jar or sis/sisx, just copy to mobile and use it. If its a jad, open that downloaded file with notepad, you will find a long link on the 3rd or 4rth line, just copy it to browser and hit enter, your original file start downloading! Delete the jad file. If its dm, its a protected sis file, again open the file in notepad, delete the first 2-3 readable lines till the unreadable code starts. Also remove the readable line at the end. Save it, remove the .dm extension from file name such that it becomes a sis or sisx file. Transfer to phone and install!!

OvI store on your pc + you get backup files for all apps!! enjoy!!
