Today I'm not really reviewing an application, yet a couple of widgets from the same series. These are maps of Paris/London/Tokyo and NYC undergrounds and you can download these maps to your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

They're pretty easy to use - in fact, easier wouldn't be possible - and graphically appealing. Not only they are the exact copy of their own map, but they're in a format that allows you to drag until the desired point.

Of course those are very simple maps, each one on a separate widget, and this is the first thing that could be improved. It could be like a portal for many subway maps around the globe... A widget where you would choose what map to display would be better I think. Maybe in future releases they can do it!

However, I must say that some functionalities, like choosing stations to determine a route between them or zoom in by double tapping, are hugely missed. And the zoom function is really necessary as the indications are very small for some eyes to see. Also, there's no possibility to exit the app (or widget if you prefer to call them) by hitting the red button. I have to be honest with you, I don't know why it doesn't happen.

Anyway, these are the type of widgets that at some point of your life will come in handy. At least they will for me as I want to go to Paris in June with my girlfriend! You have also Porto Maps (Mapa do Metro do porto para Nokia 5800), which is a city from Portugal, simply try it!

But if you live in London, Paris, Tokyo or New York, this can be used by you, everyday!
